The textured bumps on the back are what sold me, my daughter chews on those way more than the smooth parts. It's light enough that she can hold it one-handed, and the silicone has just enough give that I'm not worried about her gums.

My 6-month-old grabs this by the tail and gnaws on the head for ages, and the shape really does fit her little hands. The silicone is firm enough that her budding teeth don't shred it, which is the main thing I was worried about.

The textured bumps on the back are what sold me, my son chews on those for ages instead of his fingers. It's the perfect size for his grip too, he can hold it one-handed without dropping it.
