We designed Chewtensils for Stage 1 of baby-led weaning – introducing babies to the concept of holding a utensil and feeding themselves. Both the spoon and fork are made from soft, textured, 100% food-safe platinum silicone that’s easy to grip and gentle on tender gums, with bendable heads for safety. The back of the spoon head has sensory bumps to stimulate gums. They’re perfect for dipping into puréed foods at the early part of baby-led weaning. Our teething utensils are safe and can even be chewed on by younger babies before they’re ready to transition to silverware.

Chewtensils are intended for babies before they have a firm grasp on self-feeding (best for dipping and scooping, not yet spearing solid foods).

Do not leave child unattended with Chewtensils. Discard if damaged or torn.

Mia J. ★★★★★

The clay color is so pretty in person, and the soft silicone texture makes it easy for my baby to grip without slipping. It’s been perfect for practicing self-feeding, and I love that it’s gentle on her gums.

Violet ★★★★★

My little one grabbed the fork on the first try and it actually stayed in her grip; the soft silicone nubs are perfect for tiny fists. The spoon holds just enough for a first taste without being overwhelming. Both have held up to lots of chewing and washing, and I'm glad we started with these for se

Lily ★★★★★

The soft, textured silicone is incredibly gentle on my baby’s gums, and the handle is thick enough for her little fists to grab without slipping. She’s actually started chewing on the fork between bites, and it holds up perfectly.
