My four-year-old actually leaves this on without a fight, and the animal print is cute enough that she calls it her “painting shirt.” The short sleeves mean she can move her arms freely at the easel, and it’s wiped off clean after a glitter-and-paint session.
My daughter spills paint on it nearly every session, and the smock's coverage actually saves her clothes each time. I've even reused it for spaghetti dinners once she outgrew her bib, which is a nice bonus. Only wish the sleeves were a touch longer.
The animal print is what sold me, and my son loves pointing at the tigers while he paints. It wipes down easily after a session, though the sleeves are a bit roomy for his skinny arms—still does the job keeping his shirt clean.
